Peer Wellness Coaching (PWC) is a FREE service offered by LiveWell‘s Peer Health Educators for undergraduate students at UW-Seattle. LiveWell’s Peer Health Educators go through additional, in-depth training and supervision to be able to serve as Peer Wellness Coaches.
PWC is a great option for students looking to strengthen and enhance their personal well-being, solve problems effectively, and/or work toward intentional change in their lives and health. Peer Wellness Coaches are trained in evidence-supported models of coaching and relational support.
Hillel UW is excited to collaborate with LiveWell to provide an option for UW students to meet with a Jewish-identified Peer Wellness Coach (Mollie!). When signing up here, you can choose to have the appointment at the on-campus LiveWell office, on Zoom, or at Hillel UW.
In general, any UW student can sign up for an PWC appointment with any of our coaches for free here. Coaching appointments with any of the coaches can be done on Zoom, in-person at the LiveWell Office (109 Elm Hall), or in-person at various identified locations on campus.
Peer Wellness Coaching is NOT psychological counseling or therapy of any sort. If you are struggling with a psychological issue that is severely impacting your functioning and well-being, please reach out to Orliyah, Hillel UW’s counselor, or schedule an appointment with the University Counseling Center. In the case of an emergency or life-threatening situation, please call 911.
