Join Hillel for a powerful evening of remembrance and reflection in honor of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.
We’ll be screening Vitch (written and directed by our very own Sigal Bujman)- a thought-provoking documentary about Eddie Vitch — a beloved pre-war caricature artist and performer who found himself entertaining Nazi officers during WWII. The film raises complex questions about art, survival, and morality in the face of atrocity.
After the screening, Sigal will join us for a Q&A and discussion about the film, the ethical questions it poses, and the ways we remember and tell stories from the Holocaust today.
